Group ATEEZ took first place on Hanteo Chart’s September monthly global chart.
On October 1st, Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart, released the monthly global chart for September 2020 based on the genuine album purchase verification data of overseas K-pop fans compiled over the past month.
As a result, ATEEZ’s 5th mini-album’ZERO: FEVER Part 1′(title song’ INCEPTION’), released on July 29, took the top spot in the global charts with a favorable popularity. Following ATEEZ, WONHO and ACE also took second and third place.
According to one month of certification data, ATEEZ’s’ZERO: FEVER Part 1’recorded the highest certification rate in the United States. Russia, Australia, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, and Singapore showed high certification rates.
Before taking first place on the monthly global chart in September, ATEEZ ranked first on the weekly global chart from the 1st to the 4th week in August for 4 consecutive weeks.
In addition, ATEEZ’s 5th mini album’ZERO: FEVER Part 1’set an initial record of more than 230,000 copies, breaking its own record, as well as showing accumulated sales of more than 360,000 copies as of today (1st). Already, expectations for the next album are pouring.
Meanwhile, Hanteo Chart’s global chart is a chart created by overseas K-pop fans directly certifying the albums they purchased. It is a new concept chart based on the active participation of fans called ‘authentication’, going one step further from the existing chart concept that is reflected the moment the album is purchased. Therefore, this chart represents the scale of ‘global core fans’ who are active, and has a greater meaning among artists and fans as well.
